Nursing Staff: Our RNs and LPNs are assigned to each wing, ensuring personalized attention. They handle medications, treatments, and assessments, keeping families informed of any changes in our residents’ conditions.
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs): These direct caregivers attend to residents’ daily needs, including bathing, dressing, eating, and personal care, ensuring comfort and dignity.
Hospitality Aides: Our Hospitality Aides support the team by responding to call lights, making beds, and assisting CNAs with essential tasks.
Wound Care & Restorative Staff: Our certified professionals focus on maintaining physical function through specialized exercises, skin rehabilitation, and personalized care plans.
Therapists: For over 15 years, U.P. Rehab has provided Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy at Norlite. Our therapists work closely with residents to achieve their rehabilitation goals, with over 500 successful discharges back to the community since 2017.
Social Work: Our licensed social workers play a crucial role in discharge planning, ensuring residents have the necessary services, like home health and follow-up appointments. They also provide exceptional psychosocial support and explore non-pharmacological interventions to enhance well-being.
Admissions Coordinator: From coordinating new admissions to offering facility tours, our Admissions Coordinator ensures a smooth, welcoming transition for new residents and their families.
Activities Department: With 18 to 22 unique activities planned daily, residents can engage from 8 AM to 8 PM! Our diverse offerings cater to various physical and cognitive abilities, ensuring everyone finds something they love. Popular activities include exercise classes, Kickball, Bingo, musical entertainment, and special outings like shopping trips and holiday tours.
Maintenance Staff: Our in-house maintenance team is available seven days a week to address any facility needs, including snow removal.
Culinary Staff: Our culinary team prepares fresh, delicious meals with a monthly menu tailored to residents’ dietary needs, regularly reviewed by a Registered Dietitian. If you’d like to join your loved one for a meal, just let us know!
Housekeeping: We maintain a clean, sanitary environment, adhering to the latest CDC standards for infection control.
Administration: Our administrative team ensures smooth operations and top-notch customer service for all residents and families.
Beauty Services: Our beautician visits every Tuesday, and appointments can be scheduled through the Front Office for a small fee.
